Your Role: The Life of Our Gatherings
As an Event Support volunteer, you ensure everything runs smoothly. This helps our participants and attendees focus on their experience. Your energy and attention to detail lay the groundwork for a safe, welcoming, and meaningful event. We need enthusiastic helpers for various specific, time-limited tasks, including:
The Organizer: Assist us with the important setup and logistics before, during, and after events. This may involve arranging chairs and banners for a community workshop, packing registration kits for our annual "Run for Hope," or organizing supplies for a mental health first aid training session.
The Welcoming Committee: Be the first friendly face people encounter. You may manage the registration desk, cheer on participants at a fundraiser, guide guests to their seats, or simply move around with a smile to ensure everyone feels included and at ease.
The Logistics Champion: Use your practical skills. This might mean helping manage a refreshment station, distributing informational materials, collecting feedback surveys, or assisting with cleanup to leave the venue spotless. Your contributions help us be respectful guests and good stewards of our resources.
